You don’t need to own a golden spoon to eat well. All you need is a will to cook and desire to eat.
Sweet Jaggery Chutney
Ingredients:
400 Gms tamarind
200 Gms Jaggery
1tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds powder
1 Teaspoon Black salt
2 Teaspoon Ginger powder
2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
2 Teaspoon Chilly powder
Method:
Add water (4 cups) to tamarind, and boil Strain it, add all the ingredients to it. (Jaggoholic makes use of Pure ghee in its making. This makes it’s flavour rich and delicious)
Melt the jaggery by heating this mixture.
Fill it in jars and enjoy!
The chutney has to be a little watery as it becomes thick after it cools down.
Wheat and Jaggery Laddu
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
200 Gms Jaggery
120 Ml Water
1 tablespoon Ghee
1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
Method:
Roast the wheat flour properly, until it is fragrant. There should be a slight colour change. Keep for cooling
Heat water and add Jaggoholic Organic jaggery. (Jaggoholic makes use of Pure ghee in its making. This makes it’s flavour rich and delicious)
Once it starts to boil, keep the heat on medium high and continue to boil and let it thicken.
Don't make the mixture too thick. Add cardamom powder, mix well and remove from heat.
After the mixture is cooled down add it to the wheat flour., and mix properly.
Add ghee and knead a little. Take a little of this mixture in your hand add a couple of dry fruits like Resin, Almond or Cashew to it and make the laddus.
Serve and enjoy!
Jaggery Tea
Ingredients:
Jaggery 3-4 tablespoons
Tea powder 2 tablespoons
Cardamoms 4
Ginger grated ½ Teaspoon
Crushed black peppercorns ½ teaspoon
Milk ½ cup
Method:
1. Heat 1 cup water.
Add cardamoms, grated ginger, crushed peppercorns and tea powder and bring to boil.
Add milk and bring to boil.
Put jaggery in a tea pot and strain in the prepared tea mixture. (Jaggoholic makes use of Pure ghee in its making. This makes it’s flavour rich and delicious)
Stir until jaggery melts. Serve hot.
Jaggery Lemonade
Ingredients:
1Table spoon Jaggery Powder
2Table spoon lemon juice
1 Tablespoon Grated Ginger
½ Teaspoon Chat masala
as required Water Few Mint leaves
Method:
Take Jaggoholic Organic jaggery powder and water in a pan. Heat for a min. Cook till jaggery is melted.
Add all the ingredients and mix.
Cool the mixture and serve with slices of lemon, mint and ice.

Jaggery Mango Juice
Ingredients:
2 cups roughly chopped mangoes
1 cup Curd
½ cup Jaggoholic Organic Jaggery powder
Method:
Mix all the ingredients and add some water in a mixer and blend until it forms a smooth paste.
Put Jaggoholic Organic Jaggery in the water and mix well in water.
Add lime juice to it and stir continuously until all ingredients have mixed well.
Keep the drink in the fridge to cool.
Add mint leaves and serve cold.
Jaggery Candy
Ingredients:
Jaggery – 1 Cup
Refined Oil or Ghee – ½ Cup
Peanuts – ½ Cup
Sesame Seeds –¼ Cup
Method:
Take a pan and put the ghee or butter in it.
Roast the sesame seeds.
Put Jaggoholic Organic jaggery until it’s melted. (Jaggoholic makes use of Pure ghee in its making. This makes it’s flavour rich and delicious)
not overheat.
Put the peanuts in it and pour the mixture into a greased plate.
After cooling, break it into small piece and serve
Modak
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut, grated
1 cup Jaggery
A pinch of nutmeg
A pinch of saffron
1 cup water
2 Teaspoon ghee
1 cup rice flour
Method:
Add the grated coconut to a pan and stir until light brown.
Add Jaggoholic Organic Jaggery to it. (Jaggoholic makes use of Pure ghee in its making. This makes it’s flavour rich and delicious)
Stir Until the jaggery melts. Add the nutmeg powder and mix well.
Boil water in a pan. Add the salt, ghee and flour. Mix well.
Cover the pan and let it steam for a while
Apply ghee on the base of a steel bowl and while the dough is still hot, knead it well.
Take a little dough, put it in a Modak mould or drape it in your hand.
Dip the dumpling in water and pull it out. Place it in a steamer and steam them for 10- 15 minutes. Serve hot.
Jaggery Kheer
Method:
Heat the 1 cup milk in a pan and stir.
Wash the 1 Cup rice , and add water to it and soak it for 2 to 3 hours.
Drain the water from rice and add it to the milk after the milk starts to boil.
In another pan take 1 cup water and add 1 and a ½ Cup Jaggoholic Organic Jaggery to it and stir until it all melts. (Jaggoholic makes use of Pure ghee in its making. This makes it’s flavour rich and delicious)
Make sure the rice is soft when you add chopped dry fruits (As per choice) to it. Drizzle a pinch of cardamom powder or ginger powder if you like.
Turn the flame off and make sure this mixture is cooled before adding the Jaggery syrup to it.
Stir well and serve.
Puran Poli
Ingredients for Filling:
1 cup Chana dal
¼ tsp salt
3 cup water
1 tsp oil
1 cup Jaggoholic Organic jaggery powder
¼ tsp Nutmeg powder
¼ tsp cardamom powder
Ingredients for Dough:
2 cup wheat flour
½ All purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
2 tsp Ghee
Method:
Add Wheat Flour and all purpose flour to a bowl and mix it with Ghee and water to knead a dough.
Take the Chana dal and soak it for 2 to 3 hours.
Pressure cook the Dal by adding 3 cups of water , salt and a little oil to it for 5 to 6 whistles.
Drain the water from the dal and let it rest for a while then add it to a pan. Add Jaggoholic organic Jaggery powder and mix it.
Make sure the jaggery melts and mash the dal, and keep on stirring until the mixture start sticking to the pan.
Once the mixture holds its shape add the nutmeg and cardamom powder to it.
Sieve the entire mixture through a strainer , so that lumps and grains are removed.
Take a ball size portion of the prepared dough, flatten it on our hand, and place the ball shaped filling on that.
Seal the filling in the dough and roll it out using pain flour and make Puran Polis on a hot pan. Serve it hot with ghee drizzled on it.
